Tasted fine, decent for the price.

A lot of clean mineral in the nose, a little lemon, melon and peach too, maybe. The granite dominates, which is not a negative to me. This is drier than the usual Riesling, particularly at first, when the sourness hits; it then dissipates and a sweet effervescense kicks in. The finish is back to sour, and it's quite refreshing. The taste overall is "high," which is the best word I can think of. It's not deep or broad, maybe "narrow" is also a good word for it. It's unique compared to most other Rieslings I've tried.

Pale, greenish-straw hue with tiny bubbles adhering to the sides of the glass. Moderately aromatic nose of lime, slate and lemon zest. Dry on the palate with bracing acidity but a rounder mid-palate than the attack initially suggests. Well-balanced, with flavours that correspond nicely to the nose. Medium length finish. Good all-around Aussie style Riesling.
