(over 2 years ago)A surprisingly smooth red. If you've never tried a Cotes du Rhone you should.

(over 2 years ago)I hate to nitpick, but whoever created this entry should change the info so that the icon recognizes it as a red. This is the cheapest offering from one of the best vineyards in the region, however I haven't had any of their others. It's been a few weeks since I had it, but I remember it to have been highly drinkable, decent for the price, but rather boring.

(over 2 years ago)This is my personal favorite $10 bottle of wine; I always have a bottle or two around the house to open for just about any occasion. Nice balance, typical Rhonish "flintiness" or "peppery" notes. I prefer to drink it on its own rather than with a meal. Original poster needs to change the listing to a RED.

(over 2 years ago)Medium bodied, with an immediate fruitiness including black cherry and raspberry. Then it’s some spice from white pepper and tobacco. There are earth notes and a mineral presence as well. Nice acidity and an adequate degree of tannin, however the flavors vanish quickly on a medium finish. This is a real good quality wine for around 10 bucks.

(about 1 year ago)I really enjoyed this warm, slightly peppery Rhone. We drank this at a party, however, and the details are a little hazy. I'd buy this again!

(about 1 year ago)To me this is the epitome of CdR. It has that muscular game-like character. A simple yet profound wine.
