Bethel Heights Pinot Noir Estate Grown
(about 1 year ago)Wild berry, spice, smoke on the nose. Nice darker ruby to purple color. On the palate there is wild berry, smoke, some toasty oak and a bit of spice and herb. Elegant, good body and lithe. A marvelous Pinot for the price and excellent drinking. Not too much acidity but not flabby either, with moderate tannin. Good lengthy finish. Drink now to five years. An excellent food wine as well. W/A gives this an 87 but I rate it higher. Given the many Pinots in the price range that disappoint, this is an excellent value. Definitely recommended.
