Wow. This is my first Sauternes, and boy what a treat. I’ll be flat out… this wine is terribly delicious—seriously, it’s like junk food. It’s thick with wonderful flavors of melon and tons and tons of honey, and a nice little subtle bit of acidity in the finish. Quite lovely.

Great wine. I really liked the way this went. Good light amber color. NOSE: THis smelled exactly like honey and pinapples, with a little coconut. PALATE: WOW. THis tasted more like honey than my mead did. ALso some melon-esque flavors. Good finish. Smooth.
