Yard Dog 2005
(about 1 year ago)Light color, typical of the unoaked Chard blends. NOSE: Grapefruit, Some pineapple and melon flavors. PALATE: Nice and light, lots of acidity(too much for me), seemed a bit unbalanced. But good citrusy flavors.

(9 months ago)Considering that my daughter (6) picked this one out for the label, this was a pretty good find. Nice aromas of grapefruit, lemon, even a little honey in the mix. Taste was sweet, but not too sweet, nice acidity and a little dryness on the finish. For the price, this is a great QPR and perfect when lots of people are coming over.

(4 months ago)Enh. This one has a rather viscous melon flavor to it. Didn't find it as crisp and refreshing as I would have liked. Not too sweet, but just too heavy for me in a white wine. I love their Red, which is also a meatier-than-average wine, but full-bodied just isn't what I'm looking for in a white, especially when it comes with that overripe cantaloupe taste.
