(10 months ago)I was wary about this wine. It was a gift from my cousin for Christmas. She gave her *favorite* relative a bottle of Ravenswood, so I knew I wasn't in the market for a high end bottle of wine. The search for more information on Bogle Merlot brought me to this website. I suppose it all worked out. I must say I am not disappointed with this wine (though I've discovered it is between $7 - $10 per bottle). It was an easy-drinking wine. Smooth, not too dry. The only worry I have is that it might give me indigestion! I don't imagine I'll purchase it again, but if it is a gift or at a party, I will certainly partake!

(6 months ago)Like going camping in the Pacific Northwest in the spring…While it may rain and there is something enjoyable about the way the forest smells afterwards…you really feel like you missed out on something great due to the weather.

(5 months ago)Not delicious! Not at all! Drinkable, but boring. None of that thick rich flavor that I expect out of a merlot, instead it was boring, kind of sweet, and finished on that pukey note that I'm not fond of.

(about 1 month ago)We had this wine in a hospitality tent at a local event and it was horrible. I have to agree with the other reviewers who said it was boring and bland. It's way too light for a merlot. We've never purchased this but after having it this time, we would never purchase it.
