Fuscia color like the Quintessence. Cherries and strawberries on the nose with a little licorice and tobacco. Vanilla cherry taste with a nice dry crispness. Light bodied.

Dirty, spicy, and a bit too tannic. This wine has an apricot aftertaste and has very nice fruit with currant and black cherry. A good wine I think a 90 rating may be a touch high, but a good mid-week wine. Let it decant for several hours before serving!

Paired really well with Boucheron cheese. Agree with the other reviewer that it is a good mid-week drink. Smokey flavor.
