White pepper, blackberry and a good mouth feel. Didn't have much time to sip and swirl but I did enjoy it.

Bouquet: Blackberries, Sour Cherries, hints of action figure plastic rounded by alcohol and a dusty attic. Flavor Profile: Cranberries, solid tannins, sour cherries, hints of chocolate dipped garlic croutons, Interesting, interesting wine. Complex. Alcohol is balanced. A good and interesting wine. This is a crossword puzzle wine. Seek out.

Had at a restaurant. The wine tasted fishy and tart. The viognier likely overpowering the syrah/shiraz in the fruit and nose. A bit metallic and - yes fishy - and I was having a hamburger. This was highly rated but unless you like eating tuna fish right out of the can with your wine (metallic and fishy), I'd leave this one on the shelf at your favorite wine store and find something else to buy.

I would Have to disagree with the rating above about it being "fishy" and metallic. I found this wine absolutely wonderful. Great combo of flavors such as sour cherry as well as a more earthy tone to it. This is not a fruit bomb and I applaud it for that. I have had other Shiraz/Viognier's that were fruit bombs and enjoyed those as well. But this definitively brings lots of good things to your pallet.
