Tuscan blend: 90% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot "Beautiful aromas of blackberries, cedar and light cigar tobacco. Medium- to full-bodied, with fine tannins and a pretty, silky finish. Extremely well done for the vintage. The estate made no Oreno this year, normally its top wine. Drink now through 2008. 5,000 cases made." Wine Spectator (Wine Spectator, 10/15/2004) Rating: 90 Drink from: 2004 to 2008

Tasted 8/2006 in Mission Viejo, CA. very nice sangiovese/merlot blend. tannins are very soft and rounded and make the mouth numb. oak is there. want to try the Oreno now. went well with filet. This wine takes about 30 minutes in the glass to fully begin to open up.
