Tried this wine in HADM 430 at Cornell. This wine smells of vanilla and some fruit, particularly berries. It's a very pleasant aroma. The taste has a good strong oak flavor, good fruit, very silky texture. There's a soft tannin kick and a development of vanilla as it passes. It's a very pleasing wine and a good balance of flavors.

"Classic Bordeaux Claret flavors of Cherry and black pepper but nothing to complex on the finish and basically falls apart and is over ripe at times."
