This was an interesting wine throughout the bottle. At first there was a fascinating nose of strawberry and cherry, that smelled like red Twizzlers. That nose kind of tapered off and became somewhat bland. There were strong dark cherry flavors on the palate, but they became kind of confused and unrecognizable as the bottle was consumed.
