The Bougros is one of the seven Grand Cru areas, limestone slopes in Chablis in north Burgundy, a pale yellow colored wine with strong mineral bouquet. Characteristically dry on the palate, with grapefruit and yellow apples, and hints of unripe lime and nectarine, it is still quite acidic and could have kept for betwen 5-15 years. In fact, it is a bit restrained only two years after its vintage.
