DeLille 2003 Doyenne Syrah
(10 months ago)Lovely nose of vanilla, blueberry, blackberry, dark cherry, bacon and tobacco. Flavours are cherry, black plum, blueberry, and black licorice, with some well integrated oak and just a touch of smokiness. Tannins are smooth and the acidity and alcohol is well balanced. The finish on this wine is long and impressive. A well made and elegant wine!
