Glass Mountain 2002 Syrah
(about 1 year ago)A very over-powering one-dimensional nose of black cherry. Not fake black cherry but that black cherry juice you buy from concentrate that's sweetened with corn syrup. The tasting experience is like smoking a $6 cigar, and eating a black cherry followed by melted, bitter baker's chocolate. Simple, one dimensional, a small hint of structure, and better than any other $3.99 wine I've found yet. Twice as good as "Two Buck Chuck" Shiraz and priced as so. Open a bottle and watch a DVD like I am now... enjoy.

(about 1 year ago)I absolutely thought this was a value in wine. We found it very pleasing - great cherry and cocoa notes throughout and a nice finish. even a little bit of structure. Nice.
