This traditionally Australian blend is a perfect marriage of the lush Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grapes grown in the Dry Creek Valley. Since Dutcher Crossing Winery is among the few wineries in California and the only winery to market this blend in the Dry Creek Valley, its Vintners Reserve is a unique offering. Purple black in intensity, the color hue is dark, but without being opaque. With the first swirl the aromas are sweet, spicy and inviting. The depth of color combined with the flavors of rich chocolate, candied violets and allspice deliver a luscious wine with a beautifully balanced finish. 14.6% 1 bottle 5/5/07 wine club 3 bottles 9/22/07
