Medicine-y cherry, blackberry and burnt toast on the nose. Very dry and earthy on the palate. Very firm tannins, a bit too young. Some earth and charcoal on the finish. Great with red sauce!

This wine needs time to breathe as seems young. Given several hours of decanting, this wine shows some very nice qualities. The mouth-feel of this wine is very nice and you can tell it is well made. It wanders a bit too close to the oak monster for me, but has some very nice garden vegetable hints and a nice sour cherry finish. This is a nice value at the price I paid.
