(about 1 year ago)A very fine and tasty wine

(about 1 year ago)Took a few days to bring out its best ... started out quiet with a weird rubbery note, after a nice initial nose ... tangy and tart, green and peppery in a nice way, but the rubbery finish didn't disappear until the third day, when everything fell into place--tart red fruit, acidity, and discreet green pepper.

(about 1 year ago)On the nose, raspberry jam without all the sweetness, also some green olive and green pepper with a little bit of tar. On the palate, raspberry with a hint of tobacco and a lot of vegitable which are enjoyable. And, finish is a quite long with raspberry roasted coffee flavor. I guess this is 90 pointer. Nicely done!!!

(about 1 year ago)Nose: crushed raspberry and black cherry. simple but nice nose. Taste: simple, well-balanced wine with a decent tannin integration (no bitterness) for an '05 cab franc. Slight loss of body after 24 hours. Overall: for the $, I recommend and would buy again.

(about 1 year ago)Earthy, vegetal nose with a background of ripe red fruit. Beautiful mouthfeel; round and lush tannins. The tannins are well integrated in the long earthy finish.

(11 months ago)Tobacco, fresh bright fruit, hint of vegetable all enclosed in a peppery sniff. Since this Cab Franc was aged in Stainless Steel for 8-9months it definitely has those high notes found in white wines. Probably why I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. Whoever said this had a long finish must have had a different wine than me. The finish was about 5 seconds, gone, fin, history. I think it was worth the taste, but will most likely skip buying this one again in the future.
