Nose of blackberry, black plum I tasted vanilla and black plum; overall light & clean & acidic, with a little bit of tannin Not quite what I expected from a Pinot Noir but extremely enjoyable

This had a great nose - reminded me of some great bottles of Burgundy I've had. Complex earthly tones with lots of red fruit. The mouthfeel was fantastic - very viscous - not like any pinot I've ever tasted before. The wine is 14.9% ABV, and you can feel the heat of the alcohol. We decanted for about 30 minutes before pouring, so allowing more time in the decanter might alleviate this. Super long finish. Overall, very nice.
