Firesteed Pinot Noir 2005
(about 1 year ago)Delicate flavor, with overweight tannins. Try in a few years once the tannins have settled out and mellowed some.

(about 1 year ago)The nose is dark blackberry jam, black licorice, and spices. The palate is intensely peppery with a follow-through of dark chocolate and dark ripe berries. The tannins spark a bit of heat in this wine but not enough to be unpleasant. I let this bottle breathe about an hour before tasting and I'd recommend anyone do the same as I think this wine could possibly be a bit bitter immediately after opening the bottle. Not at all upset by this purchase.

(about 1 year ago)Orange sherbet and peppermint dominate the bouquet. Earthy with a hint of fruit on the palatte to mid-palatte trailing to a cigarette-ash finish. Nice wine, nothing too special but quite enjoyable if you're into pinot that isn't a fruit bomb.
