Pepper, violets, rose petals, and sage on the nose. Light-medium bodied. Very fresh, tart strawberry, pepper, hints of bell pepper. Flowery finish. Well-integrated alc. Fermented in 'neutral' oak. But I still taste a pleasing roundness from its influence. A little short on the finish. A young wine. Needs a bit of time in the bottle. Would pair well with fish, rustic mushroom tart, grilled lamb, cheeses, of course. A caveat: I helped make this wine, so I am a little prejudiced!
