nice ripe black cherry and raspberries on the nose. ripe black cherry, black raspberries on the palate with a touch of cedar and nice sweet tannic grip on the finish. i am under the impression that this is 100% sangiovese, but the structure makes me swear that there must be some cabernet sauvignon or possibly a dollop of merlot in here as well. all in all a very nice wine. could still easily age another 5 years
