A very good everyday drinking wine. Very smooth....light tannins. Not heavy or jammy. Some berry and light fruit flavor. Little peppery. Excellent finish. Of the three blends, it's most like a Zin.

Cinnamon, cherry and jam up front. Light tannis and body. Good quaffer. Also a great wine for converts to reds. Experienced wine drinkers will be bored after a couple of glasses if presented as the main attraction. Drink now, life is short.

Good table wine to enjoy on the cheap. Nothing spectacular going on here.

On its own, this was a great fruity blend, and by far the best "table wine" I've had to date. A little spicy, a lot of cherry, apple, and berry (raspberryish/blackberryish/blueberryish/"mixed fruit jelly?")--just right for a lazy Summer afternoon. It has all the yummy flavors of a red, but none of the overbearing heaviness that some reds have. It's a good, light-feeling wine in the mouth. (Wait, should I be talking about "in the mouth" for this one? Heh, heh.) Perfect for the price. After having a glass on its own, I paired this with an infamous local barbecue specialty known as the "Gut Pack," and dear heavens, was it delicious. Orgasmic, even. Perhaps there's something to the name--it's a good wine that goes quite well with meat. The wine definitely brought out the heavy spices used in the Gut Pack's brisket and sausage, and the fruit in the wine went really well with the barbecue sauce. Take this one on a picnic. Or to a sausage-fest. Erm, wait...I didn't just say that. Well, yeah, I did.

this is a great wine. Light tannins make this wine very approachable and is fruit forward.
