I was pretty excited to try it and thought that the first glass was very good. Towards the end of the second glass I started searching for more out of this wine but simply could not find anything else to get excited about. I was expecting more from this wine, especially given the $20 price I paid at the local retailer.

This is the first wine from Portugal I've tried (based on GV's recommendation of the Duoro region being a source of value). I thought this wine had a very nice nose, and a full body. Unfortunately, it was downhill from there. Light on the palate, and non-existent on the finish. Overall, rather one-dimensional and uninteresting.
