Hold it if ya got it! This wine is cool; its for us that like to talk to our wines. Has it got terroir-oir? Dude this is mystery spot stuff. I got hooked on Le Cigare a few years ago and ive gotta say that this is an unique vino, bro! Fruit is closed, like sniffing up a funnel, but of green strawberries, bell pepper, then strawberries...its got pepper. I sipped a glass then downed the bottle shortly. Friends this is wine. Let it set for 4 years and then you will see that Randal Graham is a freaking genius!

Very nice nose of ripe red fruit, not overly ripe from too much hang time. Surprisingly little fruit on the palate. Maybe it's just overwhelmed by the uber-structure... I think this one needs more age to appreciate, but not sure it will be worth the $28 for what appears to be a relatively simple, everyday red table wine. The 2003 is a blend of 32% Syrah, 35% Mourvedre , 26% Grenache, and 7% Cinsault.

Those Bonny Doon kids are busting out grunge wines that settle with you when you first drink it and rocks harder each time you experience it. Like Nirvana, this band of wine freaks busts out chart topping singles their way. Pioneers of the screwcap and making blends and pinks cool, I have to give them credit for sticking to their guns. Le Cigar is a GSM gem and I like to bust this out to wine buddies and wait until they ask what it is. Kitsch label mocking Rhône and French styles.
