Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio 05
(about 1 year ago) buddy icon mmezin 75.0/100
Pale straw color, faint hint of citrus and apple on the nose. Lean, golden apple flavors with a punch of acid and a metallic glint. A sour finish that ends abruptly. Yep, your everyday cheap Pinot Grigio, EXCEPT it costs 17 dollars.... First of all mass produced Pinot Grigio should never be over 15 bucks, in some places this shit is going for $23.99, what a joke. I base my review numbers not only on the tasting of the wine but the value. I have tasted $10 PG, like Gabbia d'Oro, that kick this wine's ass and are a good deal. Screw over-priced fad wine and all the vulgar advertising that made it that way.
