Total jammy fruit bomb, albeit a tasty and well made one. The nose was all jammy fruit, and the palate was cherry, cherry, then more cherry, some chocolate, followed by a looooong jammy raspberry finish and a hint of pepper. Very well-balanced - it didn't taste hot, despite the high alcohol content. A fun barbecue wine that went perfectly with grilled pork (marinated in orange and rosemary) and veggies. If you love fruity california zins, this is definitely for you.
