Color: Dee ruby red, lighter edges. Nose: lots of crushed red fruit--especially rasberry with smaller amounts of cherry and currant--sightest hint of vanilla. Decent nose. Taste: Medium to light body, juicy fruit. Well-balanced and tannin integration but short to medium finish. Very little to no earth. Overall: this Bordeaux is lighter than the typical Bordeaux and mimics a Burgundy without--of course--the same degree of complexity and elegance, but still is a good value.
