This wine greets the palette with an explosion of soft pepper notes followed by an extreme sense of a Velvety texture. Slightly on the acidic side, which leaves me to believe that if you had the patience to wait a year or two for this wine to open up even more... you'd be greeted with a truly wonderful Merlot from Cathedral Ridge.
