(about 1 year ago)One of my favorite Chilean cabernets, it has a deep, dark flavor that stays with you. Extremely hearty!

(about 1 year ago)tight on the nose, but with some air offers some nice black currant and earthy aromas. nice black currant and earth flavors with some gentle oak in the background. a little short on the finish but a nice wine.

(about 1 year ago)05.19.07 - This is a wine that for 15 bucks has been a fantastic value. This is one big rating away from turning into a 30 buck wine. Dark purple color, similar nose of past years with earth dominating ,some funk or cat pee with some dark fruit behind. In the mouth it holds tight, this is young, shows big structure, blackberry, plum, coffee notes, earth and the touch of an herbal note. Well rounded and very simaler to previous years; just had a 03 last week. This seems a little bigger with not as much funk. Another solid wine

(about 1 year ago)Big, bold, fruitforward. Nice fruit / acidity balance. Tremendous structure for this incredible value. A star every day value. Must Have!

(about 1 year ago)Marques de Casa Concha is one of my favorites every day Cabernets. They've been very reliable over the last years. Solid and delicious cab, with aromas and flavors of currants, dark berries and violets. Should decant for at least 2 hours. Medium to full bodied, great mouthfill and very structured. Goes very well with argentinian empanadas, steaks and burgers.

(about 1 year ago)bought this one because it was on sale. reminded me of my friend's dad's wine he made for the vines in his backyard. bold, heavy, deep dark color and a bit of a bite. more like Beethoven's 5th than Fur Elise. definately one in my wine rack.
