(2007-06-29 05:40:32 UTC)I actually got this wine by mistake (Wine Library shipped me the wrong wine). I ended up keeping it, and have to say... I loved it. Not too much more to add here about the flavor profile, but I'll say that I paired it with some fish tacos I made, and it rocked it. Well done.

(2007-06-21 17:39:39 UTC)Well balanced and really nice acidity. Packing the grapefruit and citrus big time. Nice long finish. Pushing up on the pricepoint for me on a NZ Sauv Blanc but worth the little extra and glad I bought a case.

have become the hallmark of NZ SBs. I
was first blown away by Grove Mill and
now I never see it on the market. It was
replaced by Kim Crawford. I drank the
Mahi last night because I could not find
a Kim Crawford. It seems that the import/
wholesale chain on NZ wines is really an
up and down thing at the moment. One thing
that I did notice about the Mahi that keeps
my score a bit low is that it goes away
in the glass rather fast. There was no nose
left after 20 minutes in the glass. I have
seen this same thing with a lot of Oz
blends of Chard and Semillon.

(2007-06-18 18:04:26 UTC)Explosive grapefruit with the perfect balance of crisp acidity. I really couldn't find much wrong with this wine. Although the color could have been better...but seriously, does that matter much?
