I’ve been drinking this stuff quite a bit lately. It brings old & new world flavors together very nicely. The old-world jumps right out at you, but there’s a sweet base of blackberry & cherry jam underneath. AND, it’s ready to drink right now. For that reason, I’d definitely recommend picking up a few bottles to drink right away, but I’d hesitate to fill the cellar with this stuff. It might get better for another year or two, for all I know…but it really strikes me as fully mature right now.
