Liberty School 2004 Syrah
(about 1 year ago)Dense eggplant-purple color. Immediate juicy berry-ness on the nose with notes of sweet tobacco and meatiness. More juicy, delicious berries on the palate with spice, pepper and a hint of minerality. This wine packs in a lot of juicy, lip-smacking fruit with enough else to maintain interest.

Liberty School 2004 Syrah
(28 days ago)Blackberry, burnt toast, and slight licorice notes on nose. Black fruitiness on the front and mid palatte with a slight bit of teriyaki flavored beef jerky mixed with Red Man chewing tobacco. The tannins are faint and the finish is just okay. This Syrah could be easily mistakened for a Norton/Cynthiana - a fairly good one at that.
