Dense eggplant-purple color. Immediate juicy berry-ness on the nose with notes of sweet tobacco and meatiness. More juicy, delicious berries on the palate with spice, pepper and a hint of minerality. This wine packs in a lot of juicy, lip-smacking fruit with enough else to maintain interest.

Blackberry, burnt toast, and slight licorice notes on nose. Black fruitiness on the front and mid palatte with a slight bit of teriyaki flavored beef jerky mixed with Red Man chewing tobacco. The tannins are faint and the finish is just okay. This Syrah could be easily mistakened for a Norton/Cynthiana - a fairly good one at that.
