This wine was clearly flawed. I hesitated a bit at first because I had never had a wine flawed like that, but then I did the test: sniffed my girlfriends nail polish remover. That's the smell around the faint strawberry fruit. Too high in VA. Spoiled. Bad winemaking. They'd better kept an eye on the winemaking instead of putting gold leaf on the label.

Wow...the last reviewer must not really know how to taste wine. He must of had a corked bottle if it was that bad, but you can't review the wine if its corked. This wine to me was one of the most delicious wines I have ever tasted. Unlike any Barbera I have ever had from this region, and I've had hundereds. This wine explodes with aromas of fruit and tastes like silk. You must find this wine!
