This wine has killer color. The nose has a sort of fake strawberry thing going on. The taste is velvety blueberry & pepper. This is a great buy I think and I'll definitely go this way again.

I can't get over the nose of this wine. it took me a few minutes to nail it down but its hitting me in the face now... Red Shoe String Licorice. Of course there's also a bit of strawberry jam. Extremely good value.

Nose: blackberries with hints of strawberries now and then. Also, some wet slate comes through to give it a nice balance. Palate: If this were a movie, it's title would be: When Blackberries ATTACK! Wow. That's a solid shot right there. The wine has a nice balance between oak, acidity and fruit. It's just plain good. You can't argue with an $8 wine that finishes like blackberry pie, crust and all. Damn, that GV is good!
