Chinon Famille Grosbois Loire valley 2005
(about 1 year ago)Dark red colored. Rustic, almost dirty, fragrant on the nose, with herbal accent and stiff acidity which carries over into the palate. Tart, wild berries, definitely crowberry, and wild cherry. Nice, rough aftertaste which borders on metallic, very brief and concise (16 June 2007).
