Cherries and perfume come through on the nose. Mouthfeel was slightly creamy with black cherries and spice but also some citric acid and tannins. Overall fruit depth was not what I would expect from a Cab at this price point and the finish left me wanting. There was some complexity to this wine as it developed on the palette but for me it was too disjointed and didn't come together as it should. Perhaps it needs more time to develop. For my money I would pay less and get the Marques de Casa which is more one dimensional but ultimately a more enjoyable wine.

One of the best Cabernets to come out of Chile lately, and only second to Don Melchor. This wine is big, and a complete fruit bomb, i am amazed at the inmediate flavors, i am picking up tons of berries, cocoa, and a hint of strawberry. It does comes up short at the end, but its still a big bargain for the price. An instant favorite of mine, not too complex, not too sophisticated, just very enjoyable and very French in style. I disagree that this wine is comparable to the Marques line, it is just not in the same league at all. The Marques is a very solid wine, but still falls into the average category, this one definately does not.
