Deep purple colour. Gushing plum and strawberries on the nose. The palette also had deep plum/strawberry fruit but was more complex with some black licorice, vanilla, spice, chocolate, and even a bit of leather making an appearance as well. Improved over time. Overall a well balanced enjoyable wine, again William Cole 'delivers the thunder' with an excellent QPR wine.
