We began with the 2003, Allegrini, Palazzo della Torre. This has always been one of my favorites and the 2003 is no exception. A blend of 70% Corvina Veronese, 25% Rondenella, and 5% Sangiovese, this fine Veronese cru is made in the ripasso style of some of the great Allegrini Amarone's.
