Bright cherry red rim. Generous but not overwhelming bouquet with dark fruits. With time, some hints of spice and dried raisins. Very full, well balanced and layered palette. The tannins have broken down considerably and this wine is drinking extremely well. Plenty of black fruit upfront, but certainly not flabby with sufficient acidity and tannins to provide it with structure throughout. The finish is long. Undoubtedly the best I've had in this price range so far.
