Heitz Cellar Grignolino
(about 1 year ago)COLOR; very light ruby pale, 1 step away from a blush. NOSE; it smells like a port, the Portuguese have a drink called Genja(?) made from cherries. some of that in there, raspberry razzles. TASTE; still a little port wine taste a bit of chocolate, like a cherry tree root. it's a very solid light summer red. tonight it's being served with braised chicken in a tomato onion eggplant stew with red wine and oregano. it's a fun bottle of juice
