Dark, not opaque red/ruby color. Nose like a grand cru Bordeaux. Currant, black fruit, pencil lead, cedar. Nose builds with air. Palate is a thinner than the wonderful nose and the finish is not as long as would be desired. A 95 point nose and a 89 point palate.
