Wow I think Gary completely missed this one when he called a "Home Run". I brought this to a blind tasting against a Beringer Merlot. The merlot killed this wine. 5 out 5 people picked the merlot. On the nose I thought the mineral aspects of this wine totally over powered the fruit. The body was so-so: nothing memorable though a bit on the dry and earthy side. The finish was absolutely horrible. It was too tight and tannic with a lot of the mineral aspect wringing my throat. I’ve never swallowed wet sand but I imagine this is what it would be like.

Exceptional nose and flavor profile, in a well polished and rounded wine. Simply fine and delicious.
