This wine reminds me of why I love malbec. While the 2005 is still young, it's bringing a lovely blend of chocolate and cherries with a mouth sizzle akin to pop rocks without the popping. I love this wine, and for the price, it's a gimme.

Big, full flavor. This is an excellent bargain and something I keep on hand, in quantity. Susana Balbo is the winemaker, and this is close to being as good as her private label and a fraction of the price.
