Opened for Thanksgiving 2007. Matched turkey better than the Red Zin I also tried. Sweet, but not too much. Like the apricot/pear mix. Best Riesling I've had (so far). :) Here's what Gary V had to say about it: COLOR-light golden, nice frizzante; NOSE-wet sheetrock, little hint of sliced baby pear; TASTE-a little sweeter, beautiful apricot/pear meritage; nice simple Riesling, it's nice & refreshing, simple & complete, but lacks the umph to get a 90, solid; WS-90; GV-88 http://tv.winelibrary.com/2007/06/15/entry-level-riesling-tasting-episode-257/

I like most Rieslings I've tried, and this is no exception. I tasted apricot and grapefruit predominate. On the sweeter side, but not too. Significant "fizz", which I enjoyed. It was a great complement to roast crab. Most Rieslings lack the oomph to be in the 90-point range for me, and, again, no exception here. I liked it, I'd get it again, but it wasn't spectacular.
