From Bottle. "Syrah grapes need hang time and a patient winemaker to become great wine. Our 2003 vintage had both. In the vineyards we delayed harvest, letting all that blueberry and blackberry richness intensify on the vine. In the cellar, we gave just enough oak to add a finishing note of smokehouse bacon. It's wine that makes winemaking fun."

The label is pretty much dead on, with the blueberry flavours standing out. Perfect alcohol, moderate tannins... a REALLY lovely wine.
