2001 Quilceda Creek Cabnernet Sauvignon
(about 1 year ago)Somewhat disappointing but I believe that this wine will improve with another 10 years in bottle. Overall, this had some decent structure, reminiscent of a second or third growth Bordeaux. Also, there was the cassis, black olive, herbals, and cedar I'd expect from a good Medoc, however, the acidity was decidedly less and reminiscent of a California wine. Overall, very good but not ready to drink.
