2004 Kynsi Pinot Noir
(about 1 year ago)Decanted about 4 hours. The nose had lots of raspberry and cherry, plus a bit of forest floor, and vanilla. The palate was smooth, with sweet cherries, some earth, and a nice clove and smoke finish
2004 Kynsi Pinot Noir
(about 1 year ago)This wine shows off its Edna Valley terroir in an elegant, reserved fashion. Red fruits, especially ripe raspberries, are present on the palate, as well as some hints of forest and mushrooms. The oak is beautifully integrated. A great wine for drinking now, though the acidity makes me suspect this would be even better 5 years down the line.
