I saw this (i think) in the "staff buys" page at wine library, and figured that for $9 I might as well give it a try. I have to say that this wasn't bad at all! It's a very approachable wine. Some cherry up front, nice soft tannins, and a good long dry finish. A very simple wine, but done well enough that it was a real pleasure to drink.

It was very light/transparent on the color and nothing over-powering on the nose/taste. A little cocoa mixed with soil component. It's a simple, yet enjoyable wine.
