The Med 2005 Lodi Red Wine
(about 1 year ago)Tight nose. Tobacco & leather in the mouth. Not much fruit. High alcohol is apparent in nose and on the pallet. I didn't find too much in this wine. There are better wines in this price segment. Points for an interesting concept in the "Mediterranean Blend".
The Med 2005 Lodi Red Wine
(12 months ago)The nose was so unique... never had a wine quite like this. It was like pasta with a mild olive oil and vinegar dressing... and a slight toasted bell pepper and French bread undertone. It was like a meal in a glass. Amazing. The flavor was even more amazing and complex. Tasted like a date wrapped in a grape leaf with a drizzle of caramel and apple. I will be pricking up another bottle of this.
