A well made wine but to me shows some low points of the vintage. Has some dark fruit, anise, and soy aspects to the nose. Palate is where things get a little off, the wine is medium bodied, tannic, and the black currant and anise notes seem to lack focus. Finish is modest. Overall the wine seems to have a lot going on but lacks balance and finesse. Might just come together with some age, though. Maybe try from 2008-2011.

Ruby color. Somewhat Closed. Nose not offering up much. Cherry, cassis, and vanilla are revealed in this medium bodied cab. Some smoke on the finish. Well integrated tannins. I drank this one in a restaurant otherwise some decanting would have benefited this wine.
